PJSSV Mandir, Amla Tola, Chaibasa is a model school (named after a pious lady, Padmawati Jain, mother of patron Shri Ashok Kumar Jain) established with high ambition of spreading knowledge in tribal area of Birsa Munda and arrival place of Ram and the Pandavas. The school was started on the day of Vasant Panchami in 1991 at Nimdih by Vananchal Shiksha Samiti. The school found a patron in Mr. Ashok Kumar Jain and the foundation stone of the School – building was laid on 9th July 2003 . Shri Arjun Munda, the second Chief Minister of Jharkhand, inaugurated the new school building and auditorium at Amla Tola on 9th July 2006.
